July 13: Cancer

"I want to live. I want to have a lot of babies one day. I want to be a good wife. I want to always be there for my family. I want lots of laugh lines. I guess what I am most passionate in life about is family. I really want to be a wrinkly old lady playing with her great-grandkids in a big back yard in the south. I definitely want my wrinkly old husband cooking on the barbecue."

"Well, I would say I'm pretty high energy and optimistic. I would say I can be naive. I would say that I try to be nice to people."

"I support them all the way. Latino comics, just like other comics, there's enough room for everybody. Comics tend to be really competitive with each other. I've never been that way. I've never hung out with comics, first of all, because they're a dangerous breed. And second of all, because I'm not threatened by other comics. Hey, the more the merrier."

"People always ask me if I will surpass the Cube. What can I answer? I did not plan to make the Cube. I did not plan the success. I wanted nothing else than to make the object as perfect as possible. Now, after the Cube, I still don't have any plans to make anything like it. I'm still the same person, thinking the same way, so it's possible I will invent something. But to want to repeat the Cube -- that is not the way to live."
